5 Places to Visit in Jacksonville

  • Fernandina Beach is on Amelia Island and it’s incredible. This area has a lot of little shops where you can find souvenirs and cute gifts. Fernandina beach also has beautiful vintage red-brick walls which makes it different from any other place in Jacksonville.

  •  Timotis Seafood Shak is a casual lunch restaurant that offers different types of     seafood. I highly recommend getting the fish sandwich, it was amazing.

  • Nana Teresas Bake Shop is a cute bakery in Fernandina beach. This bakery has a lot of amazing treats including cupcakes, macaroons, ice cream, and many more. These desserts are fresh made and are very tasty. The staff was very friendly and helped me pick out a dessert that was perfect for my test. Let me tell you… IT WAS DELICIOUS! I got the white chocolate cupcake with white chocolate filling and my boyfriend got a chocolate peanut butter cupcake with chocolate filling. This bakery is right next to Timotis Seafood Shak, so after having lunch you can stop by and have a tasty treat.

  • Town Center is a downtown area with stores and restaurants including Nordstrom Rack, PF Chang, Pei Wei, Target, and many more. This area is perfect for a night out with friends or family.

  • Downtown Jacksonville has a beautiful view of the city. It makes you think that you are in Atlanta because of all the buildings and night lights. If you plan on going to the downtown area at night, I recommend not going to late if you do not know the area well.
